New guide to feeding biomethane and hydrogen into the grid: Your path to the renewable gas network

We are pleased to present our new folder, ‘Grid access for biomethane & hydrogen’. This practical guide accompanies plant operators through the entire process of feeding renewable gases into the Austrian gas network. With clear checklists and a straightforward step-by-step plan, we simplify the process from site selection to commissioning.

An important building block for the energy transition
Biomethane and hydrogen make an important contribution to the energy transition.
The guide explains the entire grid access process in seven clear steps. Starting with the search for a location using the inGRID map tool, it guides you through all the necessary applications and contracts until successful commissioning. Particularly helpful: four detailed checklists that show exactly what information is required for each step of the process. The folder also explains important basics such as the entry-exit system and the difference between grid entry and grid access.

The guide supports our strategy of increasing the share of renewable gases in the grid. We kindly ask you to forward this folder to relevant contacts. Plant operators and project developers will benefit from its clear structure and practical tips.

The folder is (only in German) also available on our website.
