Start of consultation on infrastructure plans – Presentation of the H2-Roadmap 2.0
The long-term and integrated planning for the distribution network (LTiP) and the coordinated network development plan for the transmission network (CNDP) plan the necessary expansion, conversion and maintenance measures to meet the capacity requirements for a secure, efficient and future-proof gas network in Austria.
These infrastructure plans lay the foundation for a secure energy transition in the pipeline. The LFiP and CNDP provide an insight into the current gas network infrastructure measures for security of supply and diversification of sources as well as the current planning status of the hydrogen network.
Consultation runs until 23 November 2024
The four-week consultation on the Long-term and Integrated Planning 2024 and the Coordinated Network Development Plan 2024 will run until 23 November 2024. Until then, you have the opportunity to submit your comments on these documents at netzplanung@aggm.at. We look forward to your input!
The consultation versions of the LFiP 2024 and the CNDP 2024 can be downloaded from the AGGM website at the following links:
LFiP: https://www.aggm.at/en/gasnetz/netzentwicklungsplaene/lfip/
CNDP:https://www.aggm.at/en/gasgrid/network-planning/knep/
Your comments will be published on the AGGM website after the end of the consultation and recognised in the respective plans. The network development plans will then be submitted to the regulatory authority for approval.
Presentation of the infrastructure plans on 5 November 2024
The presentation of the consultation versions of the long-term and integrated plans and the coordinated network development plan will take place as part of the Austrian Gas Infrastructure Day (AGID) on 5 November 2024. Registration is only possible for online participation!
At the AGID, you can also expect the presentation of the H2-Roadmap 2.0, which describes the further development of the gas network for the transport of hydrogen and methane until 2050. For the first time, a concept for an Austrian CO2-network will also be presented.
In addition, there will once again be exciting national and international guest contributions, including on the development of the hydrogen infrastructure in Germany and a panel discussion on the topic of ‘What grids does the energy transition need’ with prominent participants - and of course the opportunity to network!
Further information on the AGID and registration can be found at https://www.aggm.at/en/austrian-gas-infrastructure-day/
