AGGM receives ÖVGW certification for calorific value determination
We are pleased to announce that we have successfully completed the initial audit in accordance with ÖVGW AGB V30 and are now recognized as an ÖVGW-certified company for calorific value determination. This certification confirms that AGGM fully meets the high requirements of the QS-GNB 300 quality standard and the ÖVGW guideline G 0110 for data determination for billing.
With the introduction of the new billing methodology in accordance with the Gas Market Model Ordinance 2020 (GMMO-VO 2020), AGGM has worked intensively in recent years to develop a system for tracking gas quality. This enables the precise determination of actual calorific values in the distribution network and provides an important basis for transparent and compliant billing.
The initial audit, which was carried out in April 2025, assessed the technical and organizational implementation of calorific value determination at AGGM. Particular emphasis was placed on professional documentation, the clear definition of responsibilities, and the independence of the network models. The certification is valid until September 2030 and is supplemented by annual surveillance audits to ensure continuous compliance with quality standards.
