News for users of the AGGM platform

Data publication update

Exciting developments are underway on the AGGM platform. Extensive updates are scheduled for the 14th calendar week, which will be completed by April 8, 2024. These improvements include not only the presentation but also the availability of market area data and aim to further improve the user experience.

A particular focus is on updating the AGGM Data Map, the AGGM Data Monitor and the API for time series queries. Full details of these updates can be found in our revised AGGM Platform Guide.

A highlight of the update is the introduction of our new corporate design (CI) on the AGGM platform. This update ensures a uniform appearance of the icons for entry and exit points across all AGGM systems, such as the gas network map. In addition, storage and production points are now labeled with the company names for clearer orientation. In line with the Gas System Charges Ordinance, certain storage points have also been renamed to further improve consistency.

Finding the time series available in the AGGM Data Monitor - of which there are more than 640 - is made much easier by the optimized structure of the selection options.
Another important point is the uniform presentation of all physical flows: negative values now indicate exits from the market area and positive values entries. Please note that this may lead to changes in the sign in some cases.

In addition, we now offer detailed calorific value information per grid area, based on the GMMO-VO 2020. This addition to the already available calorific values per market area provides additional transparency and precision.

As a new service, we present the national totals for end customer consumption. With this initiative, we are contributing to further transparency in the market and providing our users with an even better overview.

We are pleased to share these innovations with you and are convinced that they will make using the AGGM platform even more enjoyable and informative.

Hiding the BGR module "Allocation data"

Since October 1, 2022, we have provided up-to-date data on the respective balance groups in the AGGM account in the data monitor area. This was a step towards providing balance group managers with more precise and timely information.

The allocation data module, which previously provided historical data, continued to be visible in the AGGM account during a transition phase. However, with the amendment of the CMMO Regulation 2020, it was decided to no longer update this module. As a result, the allocation data module will be removed from the AGGM account in the 15th calendar week.

We understand that access to comprehensive data is of great importance to our users. Therefore, we would like to emphasize that registered BGR users will still be able to access the private data of their balance groups. The data monitor remains a powerful tool that you can use in the usual way.

In addition, we would like to remind you of the possibility of obtaining company-internal balance group data via the AGGM interface. To access this interface, you can log in directly to your AGGM account using the API access data form.

We hope that these adjustments will contribute to an even more efficient use of the AGGM platform and thank you for your understanding and continued support.
